קהילת קולורדו, ארצות הברית
בין רמת הנגב לבין הקהילה היהודית בקולורדו מתקיימת שותפות עמוקה ומשמעותית כבר למעלה מ 25 שנה. זוהי שותפות ארוכת שנים, המבוססת על ערכים משותפים של קהילה, חינוך, מנהיגות צעירה וחיבור חי ומתמשך בין קהילות יהודיות בישראל ובתפוצות. השותפות מתקיימת בקשר ישיר ורציף עם הקהילה והפדרציה היהודית בקולורדו, ומהווה בסיס לביקורים הדדיים רבים, לשיח מתמשך ולתמיכה קהילתית הדדית בין הקהילות. כחלק מהשותפות פועלות גם ועדות משותפת, המשמשות גורם מחבר ומעמיק קשר, ומרחב לחיזוק ההיכרות, האמון והמחויבות בין הצדדים.
הקהילה היהודית בקולורדו תומכת בעשייה משמעותית ברמת הנגב, ובין היתר בפעילות המרכז הטיפולי האזורי, ביוזמות של מרכז הצעירים, ובפעילויות משותפות לקידום חיים משותפים ושיתופי פעולה עם הקהילה הבדואית בנגב. תמיכה זו מחזקת ילדים, צעירים וקהילות, ותורמת לבניית חוסן קהילתי אזורי. במסגרת השותפות מתקיימים מגוון פרויקטים חינוכיים וקהילתיים, בדגש על נוער וצעירים. רמת הנגב מארחת משלחות נוער מהקהילה היהודית בקולורדו, בין היתר מטעם בית הספר היהודי בדנוור .DJDS, במקביל יוצאות משלחות נוער מרמת הנגב להכיר ולהתארח בקולורדו. בנוסף, מתקיים שיתוף פעולה סביב משלחת הנוער של תכנית IST המגיעה לאזורנו, תוך שילוב בני ובנות נוער מרמת הנגב בפעילות המשלחת.
מרכיב מרכזי נוסף בשותפות הוא חילופי משלחות של צעירים בוגרים .Young Adults- משלחת הצעירים מרמת הנגב מתארחת בקולורדו, ובמקביל משלחת צעירים מהקהילה היהודית בקולורדו מגיעה לרמת הנגב. מפגשים אלו מאפשרים הצצה לעולמם של בני הדור הצעיר בשתי הקהילות, היכרות בלתי אמצעית עם חיי המשפחה והקהילה, ויוצרים מרחב משמעותי לצמיחה אישית ולהצמחת דור ההנהגה הקהילתית הבא. לצד משלחות אלו פועלת גם תכנית שנת השירות- ש״ש, במסגרתה משתלבים בוגרי תיכון מרמת הנגב בפעילות חינוכית וקהילתית בקהילה היהודית בקולורדו, ומעמיקים את הקשר האנושי והקהילתי בין האזורים. שותפות רבת שנים זו ממשיכה להתפתח ולצמוח, ומשקפת מחויבות עמוקה לבניית גשרים חיים בין קהילות, לחיזוק הדור הצעיר ולהעמקת הקשר בין רמת הנגב לקהילה היהודית בקולורדו.

A deep and meaningful partnership has existed between Ramat HaNegev and the Jewish community of Colorado for over 25 years. This long standing partnership is rooted in shared values of community, education, young leadership, and an ongoing living connection between Jewish communities in Israel and the Diaspora. The partnership is maintained through direct and continuous engagement with the Jewish community and the Jewish Federation of Colorado, forming the foundation for frequent mutual visits, ongoing dialogue, and reciprocal community support. Alongside this, a joint Partnership Committee serves as a connecting and relationship building framework that strengthens familiarity, trust, and long term commitment between the communities.
The Jewish community of Colorado supports a range of meaningful initiatives in Ramat HaNegev, including the regional therapeutic center, programs led by the Young Adults Center, and joint activities that promote shared society and collaboration with the Bedouin community in the Negev. This support strengthens children, young adults, and communities, and contributes to regional community resilience. The partnership also includes a wide range of educational and community initiatives, with a strong focus on youth and young adults. Ramat HaNegev regularly hosts youth delegations from the Jewish community of Colorado, including students from the Denver Jewish Day School DJDS, while youth delegations from Ramat HaNegev travel to Colorado. Collaboration also takes place around the IST youth delegation hosted in our region, with youth from Ramat HaNegev taking part in the program.
A central pillar of the partnership is the exchange of Young Adult delegations. Young adults from Ramat HaNegev visit Colorado, while young adults from the Jewish community of Colorado come to Ramat HaNegev. These encounters offer a meaningful window into each other’s lives, foster close connections with host families and communities, and provide a powerful framework for personal growth and the development of the next generation of community leadership. Alongside these exchanges, the partnership also includes a gap year Shnat Sherut program, through which high school graduates from Ramat HaNegev engage in educational and community work within the Jewish community of Colorado, further deepening the human and communal bonds between the regions. This enduring partnership continues to grow and evolve, reflecting a deep commitment to building living bridges between communities, investing in the next generation, and strengthening the bond between Ramat HaNegev and the Jewish community of Colorado.
