At the beginning of April, open wooden classrooms were dedicated at the “Mashabim” and “Zin” elementary schools as part of the overall conception and desire to provide the children with meaningful hands-on experiential activities outside the classroom.

Collaboration of the Ramat Hanegev Regional Council and its elementary schools with the Jewish National Fund of Israel has resulted in the construction of two new buildings of open classrooms made of wood. The classrooms will serve as a place for various activities and instruction on topics related to the environment and sustainability, geography and heritage, as well as being a place of assembly, rest and play at recess.
