A brand new state-of-the-art Computer & Media Resource Center, generously donated by Steve and Sharry Solomon of Las Vegas, was dedicated on Sunday, March 23rd, 2014.

A moving ceremony took place that day at the Mashabim Elementary School, attended by the Solomon family and the Davis family (of the “Davis Scholarship Fund”), Council Mayor Shmuel Rifman, School Principal Shlomit Osadon, teachers and pupils of the school.

The Center is part of a new educational initiative called “A Place to Grow” which fosters an all-encompassing philosophy of students learning, thinking, understanding and cooperating with one another in many different ways.

The donors, Sharry and Steve Solomon, placed a Mezuzah and unveiled the sign at the entrance of the Computer & Media Resource Center, toured the schoolyard and observed a lesson using computers that had been purchased for the project.

They were both very excited and moved by the educational efforts being made at the school and promised to stay in touch and continue their support for “A Place to Grow” in the future.
